How we handle the details you send us.
Quintessential Digital Media (RC 1777764), Lagos, Nigeria, is the data controller for this website. This notice is written to meet the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the General Application and Implementation Directive 2025. Last updated 7 October 2026.
What we collect, and why
- Enquiry details you type into the brief form or send by email: name, email address, phone number, company, budget band if you give one, and what you tell us. We use them to reply to you and, if you become a client, to run the engagement. Lawful basis: the steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- Technical records our hosting provider keeps to serve and protect the site, such as the address your device connects from and the pages requested. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in security.
What we do not do
- We set no analytics or advertising cookies. This site sets no non-essential cookies at all.
- We do not add you to any mailing list without asking you first.
- We do not sell or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes it
The site is hosted on infrastructure operated by Cloudflare, and email is handled by our email provider. Both may store data outside Nigeria; we rely on contractual safeguards with those providers for the transfer, as the Act allows.
How long we keep it
Enquiries we do not take further are deleted within twelve months. Client records are kept for the engagement and for six years after it ends, for tax and contract purposes.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Write to hello@quintessentialdigitalmedia.com. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
